About Thrivy
Thrivy Technologies was registered in Kenya in 2019. Today it is App Artery’s East Africa arm.
Thrivy began as a web and photography studio. In 2026 it was rebuilt from the ground up as the East Africa arm of App Artery, an AI-native product studio that builds for regulated and data-intensive industries.
The parent brings the delivery spine: how work is scoped, designed, built, reviewed and run. Thrivy brings that spine to Kenyan businesses at a scale they can use, and adds something the parent does not have: an in-house visual studio, Kiana Creatives, making real Kenyan brand imagery instead of stock.
The studio is led by Kelvin Mwega, a cloud application developer and App Artery’s founder.
